Lebenskleidung in its structure is unique as it offers especially small to medium scale designers across Europe the opportunity to work with a wide range of sustainable certified materials. The uniqueness is that Lebenskleidung stocks the fabrics and designers can work with material already from only one meter onwards. The material range includes organic cotton, organic wool, organic linen, recycled polyester, vegetabile tanned leather and more. Lebenskleidung works with production partners in Germany, Portugal, Turkey, France. The raw material comes from various organic projects around the world, like Turkey, Uganda, Argentina, or Belgium. Lebenskleidung was founded in 2008 and now is working in the board of directors of the International Association for Natural Textiles (IVN).

Lebenskleidung is based in Berlin/Germany where over the past ten years a huge network of sustainable fashion brands has grown, accompanied by the two biggest fairs on sustainable fashion worldwide, the Ethical Fashion Show and the Green Showroom. Together with Slow Fashion Spain from Madrid, Sustainable Angle London/UK Lebenskleidung and many others, Lebenskleidung is fighting for a greener textile industry across Europe.
